PROFINET permanent network diagnostic and analysis tools.

The PROFINET-INspektor® NT is the successor to the PROFINET-INspektor® and implements new functionalities in addition to those already known.

PROFINET-INspektor® NT is an important diagnostic tool for the certification, commissioning and inspection of newly installed PROFINET networks. In accordance with predefined trigger functions, events are recorded in PROFINET-INspektor® and summarized and stored by PROFINET equipment. Subsequently, the INspektor® detects quality values such as network load, data rate, refresh rate, telegram interrupts and telegram jitter, which reflect the current state of communication quality. These parameters serve as commissioning and inspection criteria for new systems, but also as important information for maintenance and (remote) service.

• Detects new and unknown devices in the network
• Records unauthorized programming or controller manipulation
• Identifies even the smallest peak loads in accurate, millisecond network load resolution
• Recognizes telegram manipulation based on increased jitter

Thanks to the integrated web server in INspektor®, the network status can be displayed without any additional software on a PC with an Internet browser. Via potential-free contact, a visual alert can be set.
