Indu-Sol's PROFINET PROmesh P9 switch is the first complete PROFINET switch equipped to meet PROFINET's increased performance requirements and complies with compliance class B and load class III requirements. With its optimized shielding contacts in the RJ45 sockets and leakage current monitoring, the PROFINET/Ethernet switch has a high EMC resistance required in the industrial environment.

PROmesh P9 Switch Features

Visualizes network load: The PROmesh P9 determines network usage with millisecond accuracy and displays it graphically on the web interface.

Visualizes rejects: PROmesh P9 counts the number of lost telegrams (rejections) on the web interface

Permanent leakage current monitoring with corresponding frequency spectrum according to PI guidelines

4 queues per port: The PROFINET switch has a large buffer for telegrams, which cannot be forwarded at the moment. Up to four queues are available per port.

Netload classes define the robustness of a device in relation to the intensity of data traffic. The PROmesh P9 is certified for the highest load class III, the first time a switch with more than 4 ports meets these requirements. Therefore, the new switch is the basis for frictionless operation through stable network communication.

Network Load/Usage

Data traffic can be limited by adjustable thresholds to avoid network load peaks. Data greater than the maximum value is ignored.

In addition to the PROFINET features, you also have other management functions, such as Port Mirroring, SNTP and packet filtering rules for packet prioritization.

Leakage Current Monitoring

Leakage current monitoring allows the sum of all shielding currents of PROFINET lines to be continuously recorded and evaluated. The corresponding spectrum with the respective frequency components is specified for this in addition to the current value.

Thanks to this integrated function, the PROmesh series also offers fault detection mechanisms or EMC couplings in addition to comprehensive PROFINET diagnostics.
